They say when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Well I’m not saying I’ve been handed lemons, but I am in a bit of a life limbo at the moment. One of my favorite songs says “don’t worry ’bout what you don’t know, life’s a dance you learn as you go.” I know this is true, but the unknown can sure be frustrating. Do you believe in psychics? I wish I did, because I’d be all over that. Well maybe not. What if my future isn’t so bright? Just kidding, it is, because those lemons are going to be the best lemonade you’ve ever tasted, and I’ll be sure to blog the recipe for you when I make it. I guess what I’m trying to say is that no matter where you are in life, enjoy it, because you won’t get this time back. Right now I absolutely love training and seeing what my body is capable of. And I also love cooking and blogging for you. So for now I might not have a boyfriend, I might not know where I want to live in this world, I might not know what career path I want to take, but I do know that I’m happy, and I know that you will continue to benefit from my trials and multiple errors in the kitchen, so if you do nothing else, just be sure to come back to my blog when you need something healthy and insanely delicious to eat!

I work with Izzy, she suggested I checkout your blog since I’ve been eating paleo for about 8 months now. I’ve been trying to drag her to crossfit with me for a while too :-)

  4. How genius to use cauliflower! I wonder if sunflower seed butter would be good too instead of the tahini? I can’t wait to try this. I miss hummus! :)

  5. I absolutely love hummus, and I’ve been bummed that chickpeas aren’t paleo. THANK YOU for this recipe!! I tweaked it a little bit and added roasted red peppers. TaDaaa Roasted Red Pepper Paleo Hummus! yay!!

  6. I’ve been considering paleo eating, but one of my favorite things to eat is hummus… how does this compare–taste-wise?

  7. Sounds yummy!! I can’t wait to try this!

  8. Kristen – I’m curious to know if you tried the sunflower seed butter. I’m allergic to sesame, so I need to find an alternative; but other than the tahini, this recipe sounds amaze-balls!

  9. How long will this keep for in the fridge? Need some snack ideas that I can make on a Sunday to last me a few days…

  10. Wow! just as good (if not better) as real hummus! I roasted the garlic along with the cauliflower, and added some water while blending because it was way too thick. Tastes amazing! Thanks for the great recipe!
